Mobile Community Assertive Treatment (MCAT) The Mobile Community Assertive Treatment team is a mobile outreach team that provides rapid response diversionary services/resources to individuals of all ages. MCAT’s primary goal is to divert individuals from inpatient psychiatric treatment. MCAT provides Rapid response, Assessment services, Crisis intervention, Engagement, Supportive counseling, information and referral, Linkage to requested/necessary resources, Appropriate community-based mental health and chemical dependency services. MCAT serves individuals of all ages including those who currently receive publicly-funded behavioral healthcare or chemical dependency services within the region. There are no financial eligibility requirements to receive MCAT services.
