Alateen is for young people aged 13 to 18 who have been affected by someone else’s drinking. Teens are invited to share experiences, strength, and hope with other teens.

Al-Anon and Alateen are mutual support programs for people whose lives have been affected by someone else's drinking. By sharing common experiences and applying Al-Anon principles, families/friends of alcoholics can bring positive changes to their individual situations. Al-Anon and Alateen are non-religious and non-residential and accept people of all ages/genders to meet and support each other as they share the common experience of loving and caring for someone who is addicted to alcohol.
