    Washington State Department of Children, Youth, and Families offers a wide variety of support and treatment services for male and female youth and their families who are facing mental health and substance use needs. Services include Adolescent Community Reinforcement Approach/Assertive Continuing Care (ACRA-ACC) Adolescent Community Reinforcement Approach / Assertive Continuing Care (ACRA-ACC) a program for youth with co-occurring substance abuse and mental health disorders (youth receiving these services must have received a substance abuse and mental health assessment.), Family Integrated Transitions (FIT) progam providing individual and family services to juvenile offenders with mental health and chemical dependency disorders during the period of transition of the youth from incarceration back to the community, and Functional Family Therapy (FFT) a short-term, high quality intervention program that works primarily with 11- to 18-year-old youth who have been referred for behavioral or emotional problems by the juvenile justice, mental health, school or child welfare systems. Substances addressed include opiods and other substances. Services are offered in a on-faith based, outpatient environment. READ MORE Matrix Model Substance Abuse Treatment The Matrix Model provides a framework for engaging stimulant (e.g., methamphetamine and cocaine) abusers in treatment and helping them achieve abstinence. Patients learn about issues critical to addiction and relapse, receive direction and support from a trained therapist, and become familiar with self-help programs. Patients are monitored for drug use through urine testing.
